Art helps all that ails! Color, texture, symbols and intuition provides a way to connect within and to the world around.
Expression releases and helps identify chaos within to become a testimony of the truths that lie within us at our deepest level of awareness.
Integrating the art into mental health is a winning combination for all ages, cultures and genders to find a language all feel and share, therefore building a sense of belonging when isolation rules.
Support yourself and others through creative acts that nurture balance and truth of our brokenness within.
Please share with anyone touched by trauma and mental health struggles.

When i was 4 years of age I had my left leg crushed by a bike running over it and this was the start of my depression (Obviously I didn't realise it at the stage)
From starting school, much later than everyone else my age, because of my leg injuries, I felt different and was treated differently by other children and started to go within myself and art became my only release, I started drawing from the age of 4 when there had never been anyone in the family who had shown a interest in art, it was a way of escaping from everything else.
When i first saw Frida Kahlo's art and read her story i knew immediately that I'd found my soulmate and inspiration in life and she has been with me ever since.
The Frida Kahlo exhibition at the V&A called "Making Myself Up" opened on my birthday and I went dressed as Frida, when I saw her false leg I cried.
Reading your story was like reading about Frida all over again and I am sure your story is giving the same inspiration to people the world over in the same way that Frida did and I would love to meet you.
